The non-intrusive photo takeovers we designed to look great on all screen widths and provide readers with a nice rhythm of powerful words and images.
- Footnotes and navigation so readers can look up terms, track locations in the story, or experience Bauer’s journey through podcasts and videos.

The way we built many of these features for reuse on other projects, which gave the Mother Jones newsroom new ways to tell stories from this point forward.
